New World Makati Hotel wants to build a community of like-minded people who enjoy lodging and dining there. Almost three quarters into 2013, the world-class deluxe hotelstill had only 700 followers in Facebook, the most popular social media network in the Philippines.



People don't like a hotel. They enjoy the lifestyle and the experience that they find inside.



Using Facebook, M2Social helped New World showcase what it had to offer: cozy deluxe rooms and suites, a sparkling pool, and the finest dining in Makati. The posts featured pictures of experience awaiting them in the hotel paired with hard-to-resist invitations, designed to whet their curiosity and lead them to try or return to the hotel.



From 700 followers, New World acquired 30,000 followers in 6 months. Today, there are almost 70,000 fans that share the same interest in the hotel.
